Below are our gideline terms and conditions for event hire these can be ammended in cases but we must always be prenotified of breaches in terms and conditions.
Standard Event Hire Terms And Conditions
We require legal parking for loading and unloading. This can take up to 2 hours to complete. This parking must be within a reasonably close vicinity (25 Meters) to device positions. We also require level double door access to device positions. If the amusement device is not being situated on a ground floor all lifts/steps must be pre notified and agreed.
If you require staff to remain on site either on a stand by or host capacity client must provide legal vehicle parking within close vicinity of the venue and light refreshments. If the vehicle does not remain within close proximity to the venue we cannot be held responsible for delays in responding to fault call outs. Client to be responsible for any parking violations/penalty charges.
Manual Handling: A1 Agency Ltd must comply with manual handling regulations. Failure to comply with the above terms of hire could result in staff being unable to set up equipment for health and safety reasons and in this instance the full fee would still be payable, by booking your event with A1 Agency Ltd you agree to the above terms of hire.
Attraction Breakdowns: Refunds will be made on a pro-rata basis on the number of attractions/duration of the breakdown. This is the extent of our liability
All bookings made are subject to the terms and conditions which by booking with A1 Agency Ltd you accept in full Any objections must be raised in writing within 48 hours of your booking being accepted.
Power Requirements: 240v standard 13Amp sockets.
Manual Handling: A1 Agency Ltd must comply with manual handling regulations. We require vehicular access at reasonably close proximity to the ride locations. Excessive distances and lifts to site location must be pre notified and agreed prior to our arrival on site. Double door access required – no steps/stairs or grass. Service Lift access must be agreed and notified beforehand. Failure to provide this information could result in staff being unable to set up the equipment for health and safety reasons and in this instance the full fee would still be payable.
STANDARD CANCELLATION CHARGES:
More than 14 days Pre Event 25% of agreed fee due.
Less than 14 days Pre Event 50% of agreed fee due.
Less Than 48 hours Pre Event 100% of agreed fee due.
Arcade Game Terms Of Contract Hire
Delivery Terms/ Requirements
We require large or double door level access to the room where you would like the game delivered. You are also required to have a member of staff on site at the venue at the time of delivery. This member of staff will be given all relevant information about arcade game operation. A 240v mains power socket to be available where the machine is located. All steps must be pre-notified.
Repairs and Maintenance
Any repairs required to the arcade game during the contract period of the hire contact, will be made free of charge unless caused by damage, misuse or no fault found call outs which will be charged. We will respond to any problems with the machine within 7 days normally within 48 hours. Any period you are not able to use the machine or if the machine needs to be removed and returned will be credited as free days at the end of the hire period. A1 Agency have the right to remove the machine for scheduled maintenance at any time, in the unlikely event that this is necessary we will credit all days lost at the end of your contract term.
You will be able to extend your period of contract hire at the end of the existing term by renewing your contract 1 week prior to the end of the existing contract. All extensions must be prepaid. The minimum contract extension will be 4 weeks at £60 per week, extensions of longer periods may qualify for discounts. At the end of your contract period A1 Agency Ltd will collect the machine within a period of 7 days no charge will apply. You are free to cancel your contract at any time, no refund will be made.
The Arcade machine and its contents remain the property of A1 Agency Ltd and can be removed at any time. In this event, refunds of advanced rental paid will be refunded.It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange their own insurance to cover fire, damage or theft. In this eventuality, it is the customer’s responsibility to pay for any repairs or loss. Please contact the office regarding recommended levels of cover you will require.
Attraction Dry Hire Terms & Conditions:
- As you are the hirer you must sign and agree to our hire agreement. If you do not then we will not hire you our unit(s).
- You are responsible for any loss or damage made to any of the goods on hire to you and may be liable to a repair/cleaning charge.
- Alcohol is strictly forbidden and anybody under the influence of alcohol should not be allowed to use the equipment at anytime.
- Do not sign the terms of hire unless you are satisfied the equipment is safe for use.
- The equipment is designed for indoor and/or outdoor use. However, when the equipment gets wet it may become very slippery, so making the risk of injury much higher. If we have high winds the equipment should be deflated.
- We reserve the right to cancel any hire agreement if we think the weather is unfit for the use of any inflatable.
- We also only place our outdoor castles on a suitable surface where it can be pegged down, not on concrete.
- Indoor castles are made for indoor use only. We ask you to check the height of the ceiling before booking, because you will get charged if we have a wasted journey.
- The person signing the hire agreement must be 18 years or over.
- The person who signs the hire agreement will be solely liable for costs if not used in the right way.
